Going Nuts

Hey there! I found this little Squirrel in my stash and thought it was time he made on to a card...

The squirrel is from Craft Consortium and was coloured with Prismacolor Pencils. The leaf dies and Embossing Folder are both from Simon Says Stamp. I coloured the leaves with Distress Inks and Altenew Inks. The sentiment is also from Altenew.

PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE Oct '25

Hey there Crafty Friends! It's the first Saturday of the month, so we have a new Penny Black Saturday Challenge up on the blog.

Our theme this month is 'ANYTHING GOES or the optional twist 'Too Cute to Spook'.

I only owned one Halloween stamp, so this year I purchased another cute set. Now I have more options. I combined it with a non Halloween stamp to create a Spooky scene.

Stamps: Penny Black Goofy Ghoul, Restful and Witching You

If you'd like to be considered for a guest designer spot for a future challenge, please add 'GDT' after your name on the link-up...and remember to check back to see if you've been chosen!

You can see  more inspiration from our talented DT at our blog. I hope you have the opportunity to join in our challenge.

I'm also sharing my card at the following challenges:-

My Favourite Sketch

Hi there Crafty Friends! I saw the sketch at AAA Card Challenge and had to play along, because I love the sketch.

This is one of my fave new floral stamps from Penny Black, called Dreams Blossom.
I'm still enjoying colouring with Prismacolor & Polychromos Pencils. I enjoy using them more than Copic Markers. Many of my Copics have dried up and since they're pricey and  I haven't really mastered them, I think I'll stick to coloured pencils, Zigs and Karin Markers.

Our neighbours Magnolia tree has just stopped flowering, but it was glorious while it lasted.

Seize the Birthday #314 Clean & Simple with a Stencil

Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for another Seize The Birthday Challenge.

Nancy is our host for this challenge and she has chosen   'CLEAN & SIMPLE with a STENCIL' as her Topping.  If you are not in to our 'toppings' option, you can make any kind of  Birthday Card.

I used a stencil from Pinkfresh Studio and Distress Inks to stencil the rose pattern. Then I embossed the panel and splattered some gold paint.

You can see more from our talented Surprise Party Guests, Johanna, Milla,  Bonnie and the rest of the team at  Seize the Birthday Challenge blog.

I hope you'll find time to join us. Remember, the topping is optional, so if you prefer Anything Goes, that's fine,  so long as it's birthday themed.

I combined them with some stamping and splatter.

Old Unshared Makes

Hi Crafty Friends! Are you like me? I know we all have a stash of unfinished stuff, but do you also have a lot of cards in a stash which have never been shared? I thought it was about time I shared a few...

I used 2 dies to emboss the background and the tag, instead of cutting.
The flowers have been hot-foiled and coloured using stencils and Distress Inks.
All products are from Pinkfresh Studio.

I'm sharing this card at the following challenges:-

This stamp set was a gift from a friend and has lots of pretty stamps. This is the most CAS card I've made in ages.
These stamps are from Anabelle Stamps, who are no longer around.

I'm sharing this card at the following challenges:-

I am having a mental blank about the stamps I used for this card. That's how long it's been in my stash!
I'm fairly sure the dies are from Spellbinders and The Greetery. I used Altenew Inks and Karin Markers

It's the 3rd Saturday of the month, so it's time to remind you about  Penny Black Saturday Challenge This month our theme is 'ANYTHING GOES' or Optional: 'Stripes/& or Spots'.

I found a panel of pattened paper on which I'd previously stitched a wonky border, so I used this as a card base for the PB Autumn Bouquet.

If you'd like to be considered for a guest designer spot for a future challenge, please add 'GDT' after your name on the link-up...and remember to check back to see if you've been chosen!
