Hi there Crafty Friends. It's time for another Seize The Birthday Challenge

Nance is our host for this challenge and she has chosen  'FAVOURITE FALL TREAT'  as her Topping.    If however, you are not in to our 'toppings' option, you can make any kind of  Birthday Card.

As previously mentioned, we don't really make a big deal of Autumn  in Australia, although I wish we did. So I thought about what Fall treat I'd like and decided Pumpkin Spice ice-cream would be very yummy!

I used a very fun stamp from Stamping Bella and the girl is even 'FALL-ing' in to the ice-cream 😁

You can see more from our talented Surprise Party Guest, Johanna and the rest of the team at  Seize the Birthday Challenge blog.

I hope you'll find time to join us. Remember, the topping is optional, so if you prefer Anything Goes, that's fine,  so long as it's birthday themed.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

Time Out Challenge #300 THEME CHALLENGE

Hi there Crafty Friends. It's time for another  Time Out Challenge. This week we have a Theme Challenge 'Autumn Celebrations Around the World'

We don't really have big Autumn celebrations in Australia. Some country towns where the trees put on a colourful display,  have a small festival and some wineries have celebrations of new harvest. So of course this is what prompted my card.

I love this wonderful stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  I coloured the images with Karin Markers.

Our sponsor is Doodlebugs with a generous offer of a $25.00 store credit as a prize for our Challenge Winner, who will also get an invitation to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge.

We have  Jaydee of Stampin with Jaydee joining us as Guest Designer this challenge. You can see her stunning card and more from our DT at Time Out Challenge blog.

I hope you'll  have the opportunity to join in the fun and enter our challenge.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

Stamp: Penny Black Witching You

Ombre Autumn

 Hi there Crafty Friends.

I did a bit of experimenting with an Altenew Die. DIY Embossing Folder and Stencil. First I sponged a piece of white card with Altenew Inks to get an ombre effect.  I used the negative  die-cut frame to emboss the panel, with 2 rubber mats. Next I use the same panel to stencil the leaves so they stood out.

I added the mushrooms, which I coloured to match with Prismacolor Pencils.

Products used:-
Altenew Zero-Waste: Autumn Leaves Die
Altenew Woodland Escape Fresh Dye Inks
Altenew One go Birthday Sentiments Stamp & Die set

I'm sharing my card at the following challenges:-

Embossing, Free(sponging), Stencil

AUTUMN

Anything Autumn

Colouring with Pencils

Hi there Crafty Friends. I'm really enjoying colouring with Prismacolors and Polychromos Pencils. I don't have the patience to spend hours on one image like Artists, but I think I'm still achieving good results.

Once again I have used Altenew Dreamy Dahlias.
The embossing folder is from Stampin Up.
I was inspired by the following photo as well as the several challenges.

The background was made by smooshing with Distress Inks and Karin Markers and then Dry Embossing.

I'm sharing at the following challenges:-

BRIGHT & COLOURFUL

Hi there Crafty Friends. It's time for another Seize The Birthday Challenge.

Shirley is our host for this challenge and she has chosen  SPLISH SPLASH as her Topping.  Shirley has told us to interpret the theme any way we like and the team have come up with some fun examples.   If however, you are not in to our 'toppings' option, you can make any kind of  Birthday Card.

The Turtle stamp is from Stampin up and the sentiment from Kaisercraft. I used Karin Markers for the background and image.

Time Out Challenge #299 Photo Inspiration

Hey there Friends. The last 2 weeks have flown by and it's time for another Time Out Challenge. It's a Photo Inspiration and it's another one of my pics. I took it last year at a favourite Vintage shop. I was amused by the quote, but love all the frames too.

I immediately  zeroed in on the bust of the lady and the frames and it reminded me of a cameo, so I used these gorgeous dies from Spellbinders to create my card. The oval dies are from MFT.

Our wonderful sponsor, Lawn Fawn, is generously offering $25.00 Store Credit as a prize for our Challenge Winner, who will also get an invitation to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge.

We have the very talented Verena Shapiro of Simple Stamper  (Instagram), as our Guest Designer.
You can see her gorgeous card and more inspiration from our fabulous DT at the TIME OUT CHALLENGE blog.
